It’s the future of business. Most business owners know that, but most of them don’t have a clue on how to get started. That’s where you come in. If you know how to do something that’ll help businesses grow online, they’ll pay (and pay a lot).

Depending on what service you’re providing, clients will pay anywhere from $500-$2500+ per month for you to do that for them. It’s definitely the fastest way to go from zero to $2000-$5000 per month. That’s why I recently added it to my¬†portfolio.

The best thing about a marketing agency is that you can get started with zero money and zero skills. All you have to do is be willing to learn (which doesn’t take that long) and sell yourself.

What Is A Marketing Agency?

A marketing agency is simply where you help businesses with their online presence. You could help them with their Facebook or Instagram account, run their Google or YouTube ads, or take care of their email marketing.

Most business owners don’t have the time to learn this stuff but they know they need to be online. That’s why they’ll pay you every single month to do it for them. It’s pretty easy to make them more than you’re charging and if that’s the case, they’ll continue paying you for months/years to come.

What Can You Offer As A Service?

There’s an endless list of services you can offer people but the good news is that you only need to start with one thing. Learn one specific skill, get good at it, and offer that. After you start getting results for your clients you can learn another skill and offer that.

When I first started I was offering to create peoples website. After I got a few clients I started offering SEO services. Then I started doing paid advertising on Facebook and Google. I only needed a few clients to make a full-time income offering those three services.

Here are some things you can offer:

  • Website design.
  • SEO services.
  • Facebook advertising.
  • Google/YouTube advertising.
  • Building sales funnels.
  • Email marketing.
  • Video marketing.
  • Running Instagram accounts.
  • And the list goes on and on.

If you know one of these I’d start with that. But if I had to pick one to recommend it would be Facebook advertising. It’s the easiest to learn and you can charge the most money ($1000+ per month).

How Do You Get Businesses To Pay You?

There are so many different ways you can go out and get clients. The three most common ways are:

  1. Cold calling.
  2. Advertising.
  3. Content.

Cold calling is simply talking to business owners face to face, through email, or by calling them. This is probably the most common way but a lot of people are uncomfortable with it.

Advertising is when you run ads on Facebook or Google targetting business owners. This costs money to do but it’s an awesome way to get clients.

Content is when you create videos or articles teaching whatever service you’re offering. Some business owners will be searching for that type of content, they’ll see your article or video, you’ll teach them something, and then some of them will want you to do it for them.

How Long Will It Take To Start Making Money?

Like I was saying before, doing services like this for businesses is the fastest way to start making money online. If you don’t know how to do anything you’ll obviously have to do that first but that doesn’t take very long.

Once you have the skillset, all you have to do is get one business to say yes and you’re making $500-1000 per month. Get a few more clients and you’re making a full-time income.

How Much Can You Make?

The cool thing about a marketing agency is that you can take it to whatever level you want.

Want a side hustle that doesn’t take much time and makes you $1000/month? You can do that. Want to make a full-time income but still have the time to travel? You can do that. Want to have employees and make a million dollars a year? You can do that as well.

It’ll all depend on what service you’re offering but in our case, it looks something like this:

  1. We offer website design services for $1000-2000.
  2. We offer SEO services for $500/month.
  3. We offer paid advertising services for $1000/month.

With only a few clients you can make a full-time income which is cool.

How You Can Get Started

Before we get into how to get started I’d recommend picking up a couple books that will really help with success mindset and marketing. The first is eSCAPE by Anik Singal and the second is Dotcom Secrets by Russell Brunson. They’re both free and they’ll help a lot. eSCAPE is about the mindset behind successful entrepreneurs and Dotcom Secrets is about marketing your product or service online.

Step #1 is to learn a skill.

You’ll have to decide on what service you want to offer and then take some time to learn it. Pick one thing to start and learn everything you can about it.

There’s a lot you can offer and I mentioned a few above. You can watch YouTube videos, read articles, or take a course (my favorite way to learn).

Step #2 is to contact businesses.

I’d pick one of the methods we talked about above (cold calling, ads, content). Pick one and focus all your efforts on that.

If you’re just getting started you probably don’t know how to run ads so the best thing to do would be getting out and talking to people. Once you get some cash flow coming in you can start paying for ads.

Step #3 is to offer your service for free.

You’re going to be new with zero credibility so you’ll have to prove yourself and start getting some testimonials. Once you do that it becomes a lot easier. Offer a free month and if you get them good results they’ll be willing to pay you all day long.

You’ll only need to do this a few times, get a few testimonials, and then it’ll be much easier to sell your services.

Step #4 is to start raising your price.

After you have a few testimonials and you’re proven to get results you can start raising your prices.

It’s really that simple. Learn a skill, get good at it, reach out to a lot of people, get good results for them, and you’ll have a thriving business. Like I was saying before, Facebook ads are what I’d recommend you start with because they’re the easiest to learn and you can charge high prices ($1000+ per month per client).

It was created by Kevin David, who’s well known in the online business world, and has generated millions of dollars through Facebook. I’ve been through quite a few different programs and this one is by far the best.
